Introduction

Hi! I'm Rana Ihtesham Ali, welcome to my Web site.

I'm (currently a freelance) programmer from Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

My professional interest is Web Application Development. My research interests are cryptography and artificial intelligence. My primary skill set includes programming in C, C++, Perl, and PHP. My specialties include writing secure programs and vulnerability assessment.

I'm a FreeBSD advocate, but I don't mind using good flavours of Linux, Kubuntu for example.

Community

Pakistan Developer Network (PKDN) is an independent, non-profit organisation founded for Pakistani software developers to foster the creation of a nationwide software development community.

Our members organise meetups to discuss development techniques, share design tips and exchange language and architecture ideas.

If you are stuck somewhere in the code, you can always seek help from other developers at PKDN.
